Traditional platforms aren't fit for purpose

The traditional infrastructure of investments is inefficient and unwieldy. The lack of systems integration and automation creates pointless complexity for advisers who spend excessive amounts of time rekeying information and switching between third-party platforms. Rather than driving efficiency and affordability, it only serves to make investment more expensive and financial advice more difficult to come by.

Octopus Money knew that to offer a low-cost advice proposition - one that integrated fully with its other services and gave all its customers and coaches the same great experience - it needed to find another way.

Building on top of our software and services, its intuitive, fit-for-purpose adviser and client portals remove the friction of the traditional advice process. They deliver the kind of joined up, fully integrated online journey that’s only possible with our (genuinely) API-first approach. While greater systems integration and some Seccl-powered automation eliminate the unnecessary platform hopping and rekeying that plague legacy solutions – letting coaches focus on delivering Octopus’s brilliant customer service.
